14 Hokonui Drive, Waikaka, Gore
The Gore gallery is a community cultural centre housed in a former Carnegie library (1909) building. It has a small permanent collection and has been expanded to become the new home of the personal art collection of controversial, New Zealand-born professor of psychological medicine Dr John Money. Money collected works by Theo Schoon and Rita Angus seeing them as kindred spirits. The gallery also has a permanent collection of work by Ralph Hotere.
