Northern Walkway, Te Ahumairangi Hill, Tinakori Hill and the Botanic Gardens

The Northern Walkway passes through the Botanic Gardens and Tinakori Hill. But both of these places can be considered walking venues in their own right with several interlinked tracks to explore.
Those in Tinakori Hill are somewhat steeper. The Tinakori Hill section from the top of St Mary Street in Thorndon to Weld Street in Wadestown takes about an hour. There are wonderful views of the city and harbour including the Prime Minister's Official Residence.
