Gryphon Theatre - Stagecraft

The Gryphon Theatre in Wellington is an intimate venue with 84 seats and the home of Stagecraft, a non-profit theatre society. Stagecraft Theatre, the principal user of the Gryphon Theatre, performs there five times a year.

In between those shows, the theatre is available for hire by other users, with a sub-committee managing the theatre. Regular hirers include Wellington Repertory Theatre and Backyard Theatre. The design of the Gryphon Theatre was conceived and donated by Grant Tilly and key patrons include Roy and Renate Savage.
