Melling House - Sky Box

This simple but attention grabbing construction by Melling and Morse is in a part of Wellington which has been taken over by inner city living spaces fitted into, or in this case on to, old commercial buildings. (2001). Note the crane as used by Dutch canal-side houses.

Mr Melling has now passed away but not before giving this amazing biographical interview to Architecture NOW.

On the ground floor architectural photographer Andy Spain has established the Egmont Street Gallery.
