Spa Park - Huka Walkway

Take a riverside walk from Spa Thermal Park in Taupo town to see the spectacle of Huka Falls. Allow two hours if returning by the same track. Near the footbridge at the Spa end, a hot creek enters the Waikato River, providing a bathing place where you can choose your temperature.

In 2018 Council invested in an upgrade of the swimming area including changing facilities. It can get a little crowded but is still, naturally, free.
