State Highway 65, Shenandoah, Tasman
A discontinuity in the terrain results in a waterfall worth stopping for. The falls were formed in the magnitude 7.8 Murchison Earthquake in 1929. Although the original drop in the river bed was only about a metre, over time the height of the falls has increased to 10 metres. A short walk (10mins) from the car park leads to a view of the falls. You can picnic here.
