The Jane Gifford

Once there were 130, now the Jane Gifford is the country's last remaining rigged sailing scow. She has been restored after being purchased and brought north by a number of Warkworth residents. She is now back near where she was built in Whangateau in 1908. The Jane Gifford is available to the public for charters, educational trips, special occasions and as a training ship.
