Bridget Williams Books - BWB

Once Geophysics Division of DSIR occupied this building, now part of it is given over to a literary purpose. Bridget Williams Books is a unique, award-winning New Zealand publisher. Its output with contributions from many of the country's distinguished thinkers has been termed "Vital to the intellectual and cultural well-being of New Zealand life".

For over three decades, books published by Bridget Williams have told New Zealand stories. Books are now published in digital as as well as print formats. An on-going series of short books known asBWB Texts are characterised as "Short books on big subjects from great New Zealand writers".
