Ashburton isite Visitor Centre

Ashburton (pop 16,000) is essentially an agriculture service centre, a place on SH1 tourists pass through, but it is home to a major bus and coach building business, a spinning wheel maker and a leading kite designer. On West Street within walking distance of the centre of the town the Ashburton Domain has established trees, lawns and gardens, swimming pools and places to picnic.
