Dobson Nature Walk

Starts opposite the Temple Basin carpark near the summit of Arthur's Pass. Board walks take you through a variety of sub-alpine and alpine plants, tussock and bog plants - November to February is the best time for alpine flowers.

The track meets the road near the Dobson Monument, but you can carry on to meet the Otira Valley Track, passing the attractive (despite its name) Lake Misery tarn - 1.5 hours return.
