Bridal Veil Walk

Here is a walk which starts at Punchbowl Road, on the western edge of Arthur's Pass township. A healthy 1.5 hour alpine walk, in good weather a great way to break up the drive over State Highway 73.

Start from the same place as the Devils Punchbowl Falls Walk.

After crossing the first bridge, you go left and climb steadily through the mountain beech forest to a lookout above the Bridal Veil Stream. A short, quite steep descent takes you to the stream where the track levels out. You can return to the village by the road, or retrace your steps.
