Apple and Pear Board - Sofitel Wellington

Centralist control of Apple marketing has gone but has left the Capital with a fine post-modern building designed by the Structon Group Ltd and completed in 1985. It has not yet been widely recognised for its architecture but stands tall and proud nonetheless.
The building was purchased by hotel operators CP Group in 2012, much to the disappointment of the owners of the Boutique Bolton Hotel across the road. Now one can see how it looks with additional floors and an extension to the rear as it operates as a hotel under the Sofitel brand.
