This is the third building AMP have had on this site. This grand classical building in the style of an Italian Renaissance Palace was built in 1927 to a design by Frederick de Jersey Clere. The statue on the top includes the AMP motto, 'Amicus certa in re incerta' - certain friends in uncertain times.
