Epuni Street House

This house by architect John Mills (2005) may not be wooden or otherwise at all like its Victorian neighbours but it is an inspiring addition to a tired neighbourhood. The totara pallisade at the ground level and the roof terrace make the building seem like a keep tower sheltering its inhabitants.
