Rangitahi

A peninsula close to Raglan is being developed as an 'urban village'. A centre for community services is planned and design guidelines are in place to ensure buildings on the 550 sections meet environmental standards.

Rangitahi is said to be influenced by co-housing ideas from Europe but but does not appear to have governance in accordance with co-housing ideas being a private initiative rather than that of a co-operative.
