Baycourt Theatre

Baycourt Community and Arts Centre is Tauranga’s premier performing arts facility. This is the Bay of Plenty’s only full-service theatre and performing arts venue, capable of hosting a wide variety of major attractions and events.

Baycourt, which serves as a multi-purpose venue and has served the community for over three decades, commonly hosts New Zealand Symphony Orchestra concerts and the National Jazz Festival.

Baycourt is home to Addison Theatre, a grand 582-seat theatre with tiered seating and a large stage. The smaller Baycourt X Space, is a multipurpose space for more intimate performance, exhibition, expo, meetings and functions, seating up to 200 people. The venue was recently refurbished. The site, which can be hired, offers full ticketing, catering, technical and marketing services.
