Chard Farm

Visiting Chard farm involves climbing up from the Gibbston Highway on a parallel road which provides views of the Kawarau River and the valley. The farm was once a market garden for miners in the district. The winery is reminiscent of a Palladian Villa from northern Italy This family owned Gibbston winery produces Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Riesling, Pinot Gris, Gewürztraminer and Pinot Noir.
