Rangipo Museum

Rangipo Museum is housed in the old woolshed of Rangipo Station at Kaiaua. Before it was the woolshed, it was the town's post office.
There is a great collection here of Maori artefacts, not surprising considering the area has been occupied (as Rangipo Pa) for at least 600 years. Also unique to the museum are exhibits on local natural curiosities, like huge eels, special flowers, and information on 'unmodified shell banks'.
