This peaceful, gently sloping city park is opposite Fairfield House, in between the Boys and Girls Colleges.
Walkways explore a woodland dominated by deciduous European trees. Fairfield Park also contains the graves of early settlers, and used to go by the name Trafalgar Street Cemetery.
It is used as a venue for Nelson Jazz in the Park, and can be booked for lawn based functions. There is a small band rotunda.
