Beauchamp Holiday Home

Holiday Home of the Beauchamp Family, daughter Katherine Mansfield stayed here. Mansfield is said to have referred to this house and location in her work 'At the Bay'. The home was an attraction in Days Bay was proud of until June 2013 when a massive southerly storm smashed it up, supposedly beyond repair.

The owners eventually repaired it and rented it out, but the row of houses on sea side of Marine Drive remain at risk in severe southerly situations.
