A traditional sports field complete with grandstand used for rugby and cricket. It is headquarters of the Hutt Old Boys Marist R.F.C. In summer the ground is used by the Hutt Districts Cricket Club. In 2015 the Hutt Rec upped its game and hosted three matches between the Wellington Phoenix and Australian rivals in the football A-league.
