Hurunui Visitor Information Centre Hanmer

Hanmer Springs is a popular tourist destination built around thermal springs which were discovered in the late 19th century. The town has scenic alpine surroundings, as well as a variety of adventure activities such as Bungy Jumping, Jet boating, mountain biking and bush walks. The Information Centre is very close to the thermal pools.
