23A Milburn Street, Corstorphine, Corstorphine, Dunedin City
Acres of gardens and parkland, and a massive 1863 villa dominates the top of the hill here at Corstorphine. Originally the home of dominant founding family the Sideys, Corstorphine House has been through several sets of hands now, including a stint as a private hotel.
At present it is a private home and can be made available for high level functions and weddings.
Heritage New Zealand is so taken with the place that they have five separate listings covering the estate's features. The rest of the suburb of Corstorphine is a state Housing area, and the name of the place is taken (by Sidey) from West Edinburgh.
