This heritage site under restoration is not open to the public but there are guided ranger walk and talks. Situated on one of the last volcanic cones rising above the industrial roofs of East Tamaki, the park and neighbouring church land make up the remaining 13 hectares of a 160-hectare farm established by Reverend Gideon Smales in the late 1850s.. Dog exercise: We do not currently have dog exercise area information for this park. Please check for signage at the park.
