Mount Victoria

A vantage point for spectacular city and harbour views, Mt Victoria/Takarunga is a volcanic cone once occupied by the Kawerau people. Noted Maori chief, Eric Patuone, is buried on the lower slope.
Mount Victoria is home to the Signalmans cottage.
