Maungarei

Also known as Mt Wellington Domain. One of the citys largest scoria cones and of course a highly visible landform. Has geological, archaeological, cultural and landscape significance.Fantastic views over the whole of Auckland city. Is accessible by foot or by car, with an on-site car park located near the summit.
