Taupo Airport - Skydiving - Float plane

A scenic helicopter flight will help you discover this fascinating region. Two operators offer tandem skydiving from this air field which is set in a particularly scenic drop zone. The airport is served by Air New Zealand Link scheduled services to Auckland and Wellington as well as being the base for a range of scenic flights. It is a short distance (8km) from the town. The float plane is a separate attraction and is based at the lake.
