NZI Building

A low-rise structure with a 5 Green star rating is a new star in Auckland (2009). This building was designed by Jasmax architecture. Environmental analysis of each façade to take account of the thermal conditions it was exposed to contributed to the design which includes an atrium space which has a number of environmental benefits and an aesthetic wow in a cantilevered staircase. An amazing sight lit up at twilight as despite all the ecosensitive planning it somehow manages to appear translucent. Look also for the artworks located on the Pakenham Street East facade.
