Pohara Beach

Pohara Beach must rank among New Zealand’s safest. It is a calm, tidal beach with plenty of shallows for the children. There is a large camping ground right on the beach and other accommodation nearby.

Onetahua Marae is the centre of this community, with regular activities, services and tours.
