Acacia Cottage

Sir John Logan Campbell is revered as the Father of Auckland. In 1841 he and his business partner, William Brown, built a small cottage in downtown Auckland. Still standing in 1920, it was moved to Cornwall Park where it remains in a picturesque setting as a reminder of the early days of the country’s largest city.
