Hokitika Scenic Route

Hokitika - Lake Kaniere - Hokitika Gorge - Hokitika - 64km

A scenic trip around the lake, then travelling through Kokatahi and Kowhitirangi dairy farming valleys. On the eastern side of the lake (mainly unsealed road), you can stop at the Dorothy Falls and also walk to a pleasant, little beach, 5 minutes from the road.
