Westpac Trust Stadium

Wellington's Westpac Stadium is colloquially known as the cake tin. It has proved a popular and highly successful venue for major sports and entertainment events in Wellington including home games of the Hurricanes rugby team and the Phoenix football club.
The architects of the stadium were Warren and Mahoney in association with Bligh Lobb Sports. (2000)
TRANSPORT It is easy to walk here. An elevated walkway starts at the Wellington Rail station which is also a bus terminus.
