32 Arthur Street, Te Aro, Wellington City
When the inner-city bypass was built the old Boys Institute was saved. Now it has a new life as a bar and microbrewery complete with an external mural celebrating the Tuatara brand. The name derives from the mysterious third eye the Tuatara has from birth.
A music production company was based at 30 Arthur Street for almost 19 years before the Transport Authority took over to build the by-pass. The architect was William Gray Young (1906).
