122 Willis Street, Te Aro-Wellington Central, Wellington City
The renovated French Renaissance-style building with a distinctive Mansard roof, in which it is housed, has had a variety of uses including that of a brothel: "The "House of Ladies". It was originally a doctor's surgery and residence built for Henry Pollen in 1903. The architect was William Turnbull. It has recently had a variety of restaurant tenants trying their luck on the ground floor.
