Sutch House Brooklyn

Dr Bill Sutch and his wife Shirley Smith provided architect Ernst Plischke a chance to display his modernist skills in New Zealand when they commissioned what is regarded as the largest and most innovative of the architect’s New Zealand houses. (1953-56) The Sutch House was restored by Wellington architect Alistair Luke in 2003 and received the New Zealand Institute of Architects Resene Award for Enduring Architecture.
