Tauherenikau Racecourse

Three racedays a year are held here. It is the home of the Wairarapa Racing Club which has been meeting since 1874. The racecourse is set in 110 acres of native bush and centuries old trees. Each Tauherenikau meeting is a family raceday with plenty of entertainment for all ages. Find the race dates on the website. The Racing Club's facilities also serve as a function centre for weddings etc.
