Two of everything - Opunake

An open secret of Opunake is its comic status as a twin-town. Not because it is twin with any other town, but because, as the locals say, it has two of everything. There are certainly two fish and chip shops, the pair nicely placed next door to each other and two 'four square' stores only a block apart. The two pharmacies are in different streets and we are not sure if there really are two sets of public conveniences.
