Waihi Redoubt and Cemetery

During Titokowaru's War thie was a principal encampment for Colonel Mac Donnell's troops. The cemetery has a monument to men killed at Turuturumokai and Te Ngutu o te Mana. In 1868. There is also a good example of a ring ditch pa here.
