329 Hibiscus Coast Highway, Orewa, Rodney

Hibiscus Coast Visitor Information Centre Orewa

Orewa has long been the service town for the slowly, and now faster growing beach and farming areas of the Hibiscus Coast. Being a stone's throw from the State Highway, flat, pretty and and on the edge of a long straight sandy golden beach, it is a destination in it's own right. A subtropical and holiday feel permeates this community with an abundance of planted palms, a bustling beachy shop scene with excellent fresh fruit and vegetables and no shortage of retired folk and visitors taking advantage of it's attributes year round.

Favoured sports here are surfing, wind surfing, land yachts and kitesurfing along with a bit of yachting.
