Mount Kakepuku

Often spotted from the Main Trunk Rail line and noted for it's symmetrical view, the walk is even better.
View the Waipa - Waikato landscape in its splendour from Mount Kakepuku. The well marked track starts on Kakepuku Mountain Road, crossing farmland before entering the bush- 3 hours return.
