The Old Parakao Stores Cafe

Since the days our photo (Image Credit Derek Smith and Maclean Barker Photographers) was taken,The old Parakao Stores has sprung back to life and his enjoying a new chapter as a popular roadside pub, complete with beer garden.
They feature live bands and welcome motorcyclists and classic vehicles, hosting events for both and providing marae style accommodation in the village hall or camping in a paddock.
