Hedleys books

A destination on the main drag of the Wairarapa main town, Masterton, is the acclaimed bookstore belonging to the Hedley Family. Since the 1970s they have been building the store described as a booklovers paradise, and attracting such customers from around the country and the world.

With a third generation now in charge, they haven’t stopped growing the collection or their talent for tracking down the rare stuff. Though the Hedleys specialise in pop and rock non-fiction, their broader focus is in art and New Zealand history.
