Bays Brewery - Micro Brewery

Bays Brewery formerly 'Nelson Bays Brewery' is owned by a consortium of hoteliers, beer enthusiasts, engineers and builders who are supporting an alternative to the mainstream beer duopoly. Click 'Play' to listen to our audioguide about the New Zealand brewing renaissance.

They have a tasting garden here, serving their beers accompanied by platters which include products from Belgrove Country Foods, out of the Belgrove Tavern. Also promoting lots of other Nelson-made food products in their shop, Bays Brewery is visited by several cycle tours including those on the Great Taste Trail, an increasingly popular bike route.
