Green Dolphin is the brainchild of an actor - so plays, poetry, contemporary fiction are all strong features of this brilliantly eclectic store. There is a reliably diverse collection of kids books - including lots of vintage finds - as well as very proud NZ fiction, NZ history and LGBTQI sections. They also have a great supply of art and design stuff, including magazines, thanks to locals off-loading antique collections. Always worth a trip to Pitt St.
