Meteor Theatre

Meteor Theatre is a Hamilton-centric and community-friendly venue for theatre, music, dance, poetry, exhibitions, workshops, comedy, improv and a range of other arts activities.

The Meteor Theatre complex consists of a black box theatre, the Nancy Caiger Gallery, modern rehearsal space available for hire, and an extensive workshop area.

The Meteor aims to be accessible and affordable, supporting ranges of work from professional to community level, and mainstream to experimental content.

Run by a local trust, One Victoria Trust, the theatre exists to foster, develop, and encourage all forms of creative and performing art in a manner that benefits the community as the trustees' statement suggests: “ Our collaborations are informed by the principle of ‘joyous chaos’ which is found at the heart of creative performing arts.”
