Run by Fred and Megan Gianone, it’s one of the city’s best pasta and pizza places, rather like a traditional family Italian restaurant in an old palazzo with marble pillars, gilded plasterwork and stained glass. Fred’s a wine buff and although the restaurant is fully licensed with some interesting wines on the list, he allows guests to bring their own wines as well. Ph 477 3737
