Grubb Cottage

The cottage is considered to be the most significant colonial domestic dwelling in Lyttelton. The Grubbs were a key family in the development of Lyttelton and its port. The rear part of the cottage was built in 1851, despite this it was not significantly damaged in 2011 and scored 86 percent in a recent earthquake safety exam. Visitors are allowed in on Saturday mornings.
