A 7-storey, 34-apartment complex designed by Warren & Mahoney occupied a commanding site with wonderful views on the edge of the estuary of Christchurch's Avon and Heathcote rivers. The Ferrymead Tavern once stood here. The apartment block has been completely demolished following substantial earthquake damage.
