Wilding Park

The home of Canterbury tennis and originally built in 1927, Wilding Park was named after New Zealand tennis great, Anthony Wilding. The centre comprises six indoor courts and 35 outdoor lawn courts, including the centre court that has hosted the legends of New Zealand tennis.

It was damaged badly in the quakes but re-opened in 2017, complete with its handsome set of War Memorial Gates.
