Mechanics Bay / Judges Bay

The Southeastern corner of the Ports of Auckland facility is given over to smaller businesses and is the home to the Maritime Rescue Centre and is the heliport for the city.
Historically it was a city beach but has become more industrial and now the main reason to visit here would be to take advantage of helicopter services.
There are a range of excellent tours of Auckland and surrounds.
